Taxi Types
We use only taxis built for the purpose. All our taxis come under the control of Glasgow City Council and are comprehensively checked bi-annually to ensure fitness standards are maintained. In addition taxis are also randomly checked on taxi ranks by Council Officers to ensure standards of cleanliness and general licence conditions are being observed.
The Fleet
Glasgow Taxis Ltd. taxi fleet consists of London Taxis International TX1 and TX2, the Peugeot Euro Taxi, the Metrocab and the classic Fairway. All Taxis are licensed to carry 5 passengers,with the exception of the Peugeot Euro Taxi which is licensed to carry 6 persons. Call +44 (0)141 429 7070 to book a taxi, or reserve your taxi online.
Euro Seven Edition Black Cab
An exciting new design that builds on the traditional black cab, but sets new standards in comfort, convenience reliability and safety for both drivers and passengers. The Peugeot Euro Taxi is licensed to carry 6 persons.
TX2 Edition Black Cab
A stylish, practical environmentally friendly vehicle that will provide a secure, modern and comfortable ride to all its passengers.
